Recent Comments do not appear in recent comments widget on blogspot.

I have intense debates on my blog at www.infamousscribbler.blogspot.com however the recent comments widget does not work. I will post items and they will appear in the comments section beneath the post, but not on the recent comments section on the right hand side. Also the title of the recent comments widget does not appear on the blog. How do I fix this?
