Remove "Blogs" from Most Popular Widget

Is there any way that the "Most Popular" widget could be modified to not have the words "Blog Posts" in it. There are many non-blog sites that use intense debate that could benefit from this widget if those words were not included.

Also, I noticed a post about this about 6 months ago, but are there any plans to have a RSS feed of the top commented stories?
