Still having to approve comments from past approved commenters - help!!
I have just switched from wordpress.com or wordpress.org and have enabled Intense Debate as my comment moderation tool. Unfortunately it is having me approve every single comment, even from people that have commented before, as I have requested in the Intense Debate Moderation options.
How can I change this? With the vast amount of comments that my site receives on a daily basis, it is a staggering time-consuming task in and of itself.
Thoughts?

Inappropriate?Same here. Also seems like a LOT of spam gets through. Have to manually mark it as spam.

Please check out your spam settings in your moderation settings page at http://intensedebate.com. Please make sure you have akismet enabled. Also, can you please try blocking their IP address? You can do that from the comment section by selecting the "Block IP" option at the bottom right of the page. You can also access the commenter's IP address from your email notifications and moderation page, and then enter that into your IP blacklist in your moderation settings page. -
Inappropriate?I have this issue - I need to approve people once and then never again. I don't want to force them to sign up for Intensedebate.
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate?@Preparedness Pro: unfortunately we do not import your previous history of commenters that you've already approved prior to using IntenseDebate. That's a cool idea though and something that we will look into for the future.
The option to automatically approve comments written by IntenseDebate users who have previously posted a comment that was approved only applies to IntenseDebate users and does not apply to Guest commenters. Unfortunately we cannot track guest commenters to keep them approved, but this is something we are investigating. I apologize for the inconvenience. -
Inappropriate?I don't understand why this is difficult - if the system requires an email address to sign in, why can't it track against the email address?
I’m confused

We track IntenseDebate users, so if they have an IntenseDebate account then the auto-approve feature will work. We're looking at doing this for Guest commenters, but there is no ETA at the moment.
