Cant open Quicken Personal Plus generated QDF file in Quicken Personal edition.
I used to use Quicken Personal Plus but have now downgraded to Quicken Personal (don't need all the extra functionality).
Installed Quicken Personal and tried to open my backed up QDF file. Get the following error:
"The file contains one or more accounts that require access to features not currently activated in this copy of Quicken (e.g. Investing, Business)."
All I want is for Quicken to open the data that is supported. Alas it won't let me. Since my copy of Quicken Personal Plus has expired I now have no way of opening this data.
Grrrrrrrr.
Any thoughts?
And when is Intuit going to do the right thing and allow exporting of QIF files in Australia???? Or even, heaven forbid, make the QDF format open?
PS I'm in Australia and using the Quicken products distributed by Reckon - which seem t be different to the rest of t world.

Inappropriate?Hi there David,
Quicken (owned by Intuit and based in the U.S.) is actually slightly different than what is distributed by Reckon.
I found Reckon's support site for you: http://www.quicken.com.au/Support/def...
I would recommend this as a starting point, since we don't provide support for internationally licensed products here in the U.S.
Hope this helps,
Chelsea
I’m hopeful.
