Developers: Use SQLite to reduce resource hogging
QuickBooks is an absolute resource hog, and I attribute this (maybe a little naively) to the Microsoft database library in use. I have a PC that's a bit dated, so I expect a little sluggishness, but I swear, it feels like this thing takes five minutes to start up. Bleah.
The developers ought to take a look at using SQLite instead. It's light, fast, and best of all, in the public domain.
