Free Support With New Product Purchase Is Not Available
I converted from QBOL to a desktop version 2+ months ago. Since then trying to get to tech support has been a maze. it's supposed to come with 30 days support AFTER registering it, but then online they say 30 days after installing it (you have 30 days to register it) but then there isn't any way to contact them without going though selecting a paid support plan option. When I did reach someone I was told that the number that I've been calling for the past 2 months (and been holding on for over 1/2 hour each time before getting disconnected) was not used any longer. When asked who in Intuit can I speak with to address this issue and to get the support that was supposed to come with the product I was told "Nobody". That is the answer to Intuit's support short comings... "Nobody" is responsible for this.
I or my company has been using QB since it was released. I was a consultant for Intuit during the prerelease market positioning study for QB and HAD always respected the product and company. Now they simply seem to take advantage of their market dominance and have no respect for their customers. I am very disappointed.
