Why does Intuit disable functionality that I've paid for?

Why do you cripple your products after only a few years?

About every three years, I'm forced to upgrade quicken because the online functionality is disabled. Why???!!!! There is no justification for this. It's only purpose is to extract more money from customers who've already paid for a product.

I am also a reluctant user of Quickbooks and TurboTax. I find out that for no good reason, TurboTax will not import data from versions of Quickbooks only a few years old.

There is absolutely no reason for this. It shows that Intuit has no respect for its customers and amounts to extortion.

How dare you disable functionality I've paid for.
