Anyway to add SMS Text or Email updates for mileage?
Many times I send myself an email because mobile access to the site is slow.
The Syntax could be: Odometer End Reading, Trip Note (e.g. 138011 Home to Client ABC).
You could autofill the Start with last Odometer.
HELP! I need to be able to get BACK into my iPhoneMiles account, but since the version 2.0 iPhone update I can't! I do not have the original email when I created the account... Please, please, help me! I have contacted directly through the gmail account. Please, please, contact me asap!
I've tried to sign on to iphonemiles but keep getting a page that says I typed something wrong or the page isn't available. I tried to go back in and redo the sign up, but it shows that my name and email are already taken. User name for iphonemiles is Fr. Michael.
Would be helpful to add "new Entry" button to almost every screen. Also, when at the 'successful entry' screen when I click on Home it takes me to the list of all my entries rather than home.
I need assistance with my iphonemiles account, I have a rough idea what my ID is and I need my password reset. I can't find my welcome email from last year and I haven't used my account for a while so I don't remember them. I just emailed rbrigleb from another post, but I'm kind of in a pinch since I need to get in to finish my taxes. I would like to see the option to have different cars. I have 2 and I can tell which it is from the mileage, but the ability to sort them by vehicle would be nice.
How do I stay logged in on my iphone? It's a pain to have to re-enter my user name and password on my Iphone every time I want to make an entry. The "remember password" checkbox does not work on the Iphone
Any interest in sharing this code so that we can update it or even use it without an Internet connection? I would really like the ability to store this on my iPod as an offline app. I am running Apache web server on my iPod so I could easily access the app through there using Safari. If it is Java based it should be possible to convert it to a Jiggy app as well. I would be willing to donate. Thanks for your replies.
Could you possibly add a field for purpose? The IRS requires that each entry have the purpose of the trip listed. Also, it would be great if you could export/sort/view by month or by year and if you could see the current total miles for the month/year. Thanks for the great app!!
Absolutely, it's already in there. If you add a bookmark ("web clip") on your iPhone, and put the link on your home page, a cute and friendly icon should be there, just waiting for you!
Your account, which you use to log in, corresponds to a single vehicle. A driver is someone who drives that vehicle. You may have multiple drivers for a single vehicle, but if you have multiple vehicles, you will have to set up another login for each of those vehicles.
You can export a spreadsheet right from the main screen of iPhoneMiles. You can do this on your iPhone or on your computer, but it's probably easiest to do on your computer.
Simple go to the main page (with the four big buttons on it) and click on the "give me a CSV file" link below the buttons. Your browser should download this file, which you can open with pretty much any spreadsheet software you might have!
