Roomba heads to dock, but doesn't seem to charge when it gets there
I suspect my Roomba has a battery or charging problem. It goes to the dock, but when it gets there the light doesn't pulsate -- it's just green.
If I take it off the dock and ask it to clean, the battery light is red immediately, and the first thing it does is head back to the dock for a recharge (which it doesn't do).
What's going on? Is the battery dead? Does something need cleaning? Is it a bigger problem?
Thanks for any information you can give me.

Inappropriate? One of the NiCad batteries in your yellow battery pack is probably unusable due to mechanical failure within the battery.
Try connecting the Roomba to the charger directly, without the dock. If it works, your battery's fine but the dock has a problem. -
Inappropriate?here's a reply from another site...
"If your Roomba Red, Roomba (sage), Roomba Discovery, or Roomba Discovery SE is indicating a full charge, but it only runs for 15 minutes when you press clean, you need to reset the charging system. You can do this by removing the battery from the robot and unplugging the charger from the wall and robot. Please hold the power button down for 30 seconds. You then should charge the robot....."
