Can I use the Smart Look viewer for embeded documents?
I like the document-viewer poping up when using the Smart Look code (opening in the same window, inside the same page). Is it possible to use this kind of viewer for embeded documents too (wich opens in a new window)? That would be just great!! Thanks for your help.

Inappropriate?Hi,
I'm afraid not :( We'll take your idea under advisement for future releases.
Thanks for the feedback

I agree! This would be a great option... I use smarlook on our site and every pdf file open consistently in the smartlook style. However, when I want to highlight the most recent publication I like to use the embedded minI-viewer... except when you click on it it defaults right to full screen! If it could go to the smartlook viewer/display first that would be great.
By going straight to full-screen you lose the ability to print, share, etc... as the full screen viewer has limited menu tools. Another work around would be to just add the smartlook menu to the full screen view so you have the ability to share, print, etc... the first option would still be preferred. -

Inappropriate?Any movement on this???
For us, we have over 250+smarlook documents and want our mini-embedded viewers to function the same way.
Then, if the share link was fixed as per my other post I woudl be a happy guy :)
I’m wondering if there has been movement on this.

Inappropriate?I totally agree with gheldt and FRI. If I'm not mistaken, this would also enable searching the embedded versions which is priceless.
Oh please, pretty please make it so! -
Inappropriate? Also I find the new full-screen-mode of the the actual and new embedding code is great, I think it's only close to the mentioned document-viewer from the Smart Look Code. I have some picture-gallerys that are just opening that way (same window with darkened background). To keep the same look and feel I would prefer the Smart Look "full-window-mode" - maybe with the opportunity to switch from there to a real "full-screen-mode".
Because of the new comments from FRI and Veltsu and myself still missing this feature, I'd like to reopen this topic and maybe there are some other users who like to have the "full-window/or viewport-mode" for their Issuu documents. -

Inappropriate? It will also allow downloading (which could be turned on our off depending on the embeddign document and preference of the document manager).
I had an issue with the share feature in the full screen version and by making it default to the smarlook display first it woudl solve this issue as well (see other thread)
I’m optimistic we can kill two birds with one stone :)

Inappropriate?Any movement on this? I love the embedded viewer but it does need a share feature that functions like smartlook. Or else I might have to start embedding a thumbnail linking to the pdf so it open like smartlook.
As well, get rid of the "powered by issuu" branding for pro users on the mini-viewer... might have to switch back to free if the white label product still has heavy branding up front.
