Does Smart Look work with typepad? If so, where do I post the code?

Haven't tried. Depends on very much on Typepad and there offering. If you can edit and paste code in the footer of your page templates there's a chance it will work. People have successfully gotten it to work with Wordpress this way.

Just make sure to paste the code a bottom of your page just above the - tag (or in the footer) and keep the code well-formed.
