Show Latest Uploaded Item in widget?

Hi,

I am very new to issuu and I am sorry if this has been asked before here. I searched. I would like to have a issuu widget that shows the most recently uploaded item. Or say, most recently uploaded item from Folder X. Is this possible? Does this require the API?
