Team Home Pages with ITSN?
I am curious if there is the possibility of using your product to allow team officials to maintain a "team" web site? Can this be done via a Member's login somehow, as long as they are registered as a team offical?
Any advice would be great!
Thanks,
Mike

Hi Mike(s),
You are right you can make any page a secure page, but even if you create them under the division folder they will not show up (I just tested that).
We are just releasing a new version of the webmaster tool and the new version does away with this confusion, it is either a member page or it isn't.
The first release has some cool ease of use improvements, but it is mostly meant to replace ITWebmaster. We are then going to be working on the public website and the members area. Both are getting a complete redesign.

Inappropriate?Hi Mike,
Yes you can allow teams to login and manage team webpages and schedule practices. We have not had many customers have much success with this. I think once a team has their standings, schedules and practices they don't need much else. One of the best examples I saw was a soccer club who posted volunteer position schedules, such as which parents were responsible to bring the juice and oranges.

Inappropriate? Thanks David! I think I know how to set this up now. Correct me if I'm wrong but if a team home page is created and that team is registered to a Division that their League or Governing Body owns, then the team home page can only be found on the League web site; not their Club's web site. Is this correct?
Also interested in understanding the use of an admin page when created under a division. For example, see the attached figure which shows an admin page I created but can''t seem to figure out how it's accessed via the Member's area.
Cheers!
I’m happy

Inappropriate?I've had the same question. How does the Admin pages work?
-
Inappropriate?Michael - if you create a page under a team folder and check the admin box, this page (as far as I know) is only viewable through the Member's area for registered team officials. I think you can think of it as a "secure web page".
However, this Admin checkbox also exists for pages created under a Divisions folder as well as "Pages Unassigned" folder and for the life of me, I can't figure out how this functionality works.
I am hoping someone at ITSN can provide insight.
I’m unsure

Inappropriate?Oops, forgot to mention that we are just in the final stages of beta testing the new webmaster and it is going to be released into production next month. The graphic above is the new version that features drag and drop menus and an easier to use interface.
