I am surprised there's no way to do folksonomies on iusethis! There should be.

Inappropriate?No, it doesn't. It has tags, which the person who 'manages' the app can edit, but users cannot submit tags to be added to apps, or just plain add tags to apps.
Tagging means I can add them myself. Show me where, on the doll, the man tagged you:

sadly no. I believe there are more tags certain apps could use to aid in the 'similar apps' sidebar, but since I can't add them (and i can understand not wanting a mass tag addition, because it might easily get filled with crap) I can't do anything about it other than make a comment which might never get seen. -

That's good and all, but maybe there could be an untrusted/suggested tag system? Where users submit tags, they're listed, but not used, but if other people agree, they could submit them too (like on amazon), and after a few votes they are 'trusted'? Or perhaps, unlisted (like on slashdot), and once they are submitted a few times it's assumed that people have the same idea and thus the tag is probably corrected?

Inappropriate?Yeah, we would like to add such a system, the main issue for us is trust, and to avoid spamming. Right now we have our hands full with another launch, but we'll revisit this in august :)
