webapps.iusethis.com?

iusethis for web apps would be awesome, maybe it could try to auto grab the high res iphone favicon like the iphone.iusethis.com grabs the description from the app store?

(Also, it would be nice if iphone.iusethis grabs an icon from the app store, that it also hide the little icon uploader option, because people who don't already know it grabbed it will try to find an icon and post it)

I second this idea.

I've seen a few sites that try to do it for webapps (killerstartups.com -- clunky and bad), but nothing quite as clean and friendly as iusethis.

I thought allthingsweb2.com was bad, and I recently found feedmyapp.com which is kinda nice.

There are several types of web apps: the ones for normal browsers, the ones buit for the iphone (eg: gmail & remember the milk have special versions), and the ones made for standard mobile phones (eg: picasa, etc).

The two biggest categories as far as I can tell is hosted applications (like flickr and blogger) and web apps you can download or buy and run on your own server. (Like Moveabletype, wordpress and phpGallery). One of the issues we're discussing with regards to making iusethis for web applications is what constitutes a web application, and what is just a web site. I also worry the potensial for spam is greater on this platform than on the others.
