Is there a way to import my contacts with a VCF file or a CSV file or a long list into Sandy without having to write "remember" in front of each entry? Which doesn't work that well either when you have multiples tags like : Address, First Name, Last Name, etc.
How do I synchronize Sandy with my BlackBerry? I am using Microsoft Exchange and was hoping there was some way to automatically add appointments using the iCalendar ICS feed that is now available to us. I have also added it to my Google Calendar but can't figure out a workaround to combine the two calendars on my MS Exchange account.
My end result is to have Sandy's appointments fed straight to my BlackBerry, can anyone help?
I see monthly reminders for specific calendar dates, like 9/1 @monthly, but how do I do it for specific days of the week? (I have to move my car for the street cleaning the first Wednesday of every month.)
If I pop up Sandy's "New" message widget in one browser tab, and then drag a url from another tab (thanks for the tip, Rael), the url gets pasted in the New box, but I have to add the normal 'remember' text before the url to get Sandy to do the right thing, just as if I had sent it through email.
If I'm entering the info directly in Sandy's "New" textbox, I already want Sandy to remember whatever it is I'm entering through the mere fact of adding it on the page instead of via email. Assuming the same text-processing backend should be used to process all incoming messages, and that Sandy's "New" popup is sending text to it, would it make sense for the "New" popup to staple on a preceeding "remember" to the message if it doesn't already exist when the message is in transit? Or pre-populate the New box with 'remember'? That way I can drag-n-tag without having to deal with the extra text and keep up my lazy ways.
Is it possible to do a lookup for all items that don't have tags? I would like to find all items that I forgot to tag without the need for searching through every item that I have ever sent Sandy. For instance "lookup @notag" or "lookup @untagged"
Is it possible to add more than 1 secondary email (i.e. having 3 or 4 emails connected to my Sandy account?) I tried adding my third email but I it kept popping this message when I click on the confirmation link
"Oops!
Please try again in a moment — the antacids should have taken effect by then."
I'm hungry for Sandy to be my one true repository of all things, but also to integrate with everything on the planet from my holographic wristwatch to my browser.
Short of having a firefox plugin for sandy, an rss feed of just the bookmarks (but filter-able by tag) ala del.icio.us would be snazzy. Does such a beast exist? The only feeds I can find are the Calendar one and the 'everything' one.
Is it possible to create a list with Sandy via Jott? All of my attempts end up as notes and not lists. Something like the following would be very useful:
"Remember list groceries. Items eggs and butter and cheese"
I just sent out the following via twitter: d s remind me to do laundry tonight at 10pm @noreply
I think Twitter picked this up as "noreply" being a Twitter user, because a few minutes later Sandy said "I got #60: Do Laundry (Wed, 7/16/2008 10:00pm)
I guess this isn't really Sandy's problem...but how are we supposed to use tags via twitter?
I use google talk on my phone and my computer and the instant feedback of a sandy bot would be the closest thing to a real personal assistant that I could afford.
the logging features built in would make this nice too.
I'd like to create a task list for example "install wordpress on a website" then add todo's to that list, for example "create template", "write custom code to do x", "test x works" etc etc. Is this possible?
I'm used to using basecamp and having tasks associated with milestones and was wondering if this kind of functionality or similar is possible with sandy?
