    Defaulting reminders as to-do's

    I'd really like the option to set reminders to default to being todo's. I use iwantsandy most through twitter from my phone and having to add "@todo" on to the end of everything takes up 5 characters and is annoying.

    The reason I want to be able to do this is because it would be great if I could get a list back from sandy of everything that I've asked her to remind me about, in the style of a to-do list.

    Useful/not?

    Can't list Todos with tag without done todos - bug or user error? Last reply on May 13, 2008 07:09.

    I would like to be able to show all my todo items with a particular tag, but hide the ones that are already done and I cannot seem to find any way to do that.

    Here's what I'm trying. I selection "Your Stuff"/"Todos" and I get http://www.iwantsandy.com/todos showing me all of my todos. So now I select, from the list of "Your Tags" to the right, "Work". I get only my Work-tagged stuff now, but also all the already done ones.

    There is a link at the top for "Show Done Todos" which of course is what it is already doing. Clicking on it takes me back to my complete ToDo list, dropping the "Work" filter.

    I've tried manually massaging the url by adding "&done=0" without any improvement.

    Bug? Or am I missing something?

    UPDATE for May 12th, 2008 Last reply on May 13, 2008 03:11.

    Howdy,

    Today's update brings some further user-interface improvements in preparation for the fun(ctional) overhaul we have in the works.

    =====

    TWEAKED: Inline action links

    The action links we introduced last week brought those actions you perform several times a day — editing, deleting (forgetting), and archiving — inline (rather than having to click once just to get to them, and again to take action). Some of you — and, admittedly, me too — pointed out that these links took up too much room, enlarging the footprint of individual items a wee bit too much. So we've tweaked them still further, moving them over to the right and iconizing them so that they're within easy reach yet as unobtrusive as possible.

    Thanks Jaclyn, Trevor, Waffles, and the rest of you [http://getsatisfaction.com/iwantsandy...] for making your feelings known!

    =====

    TWEAKED: Show/hide past events and done to-dos

    You'll notice new "Show/hide past" and "Show/hide done [to-dos]" links at the top of any page you're likely to need them.

    For example:

    * Select "Your stuff > Appointments" from Sandy's menu-bar for all upcoming appointments; now click the "Show past" link and the list will also include past appointments.

    * Select "Your stuff > To-dos" for your current to-do list; then click "Show done" to include done to-dos, "Show past" to include all not-yet-done and done to-dos past, present, and upcoming.

    A shout out to Kate, Kevin1, and others [http://getsatisfaction.com/iwantsandy...] for pointing out the inconsistencies!

    =====

    IMPROVED: Empty results suggestions

    We added suggestions for where you might find what you're looking for when your search resulted in, well..., no results.

    =====

    FIXED: Archives

    You should find all you expect to when clicking the "archive" tag in the right-hand sidebar while looking at any view of your your stuff, appointments, to-dos, etc.

    =====

    DOCUMENTED: Mobile reminder instructions for T-Mobile UK customers

    Schedule weekly appointments with an end date Last reply on May 13, 2008 01:31.

    Initial attempt to Sandy was "Remember class every Wednesday until May 7 from 5:30-8:30pm". What I received back was an appointment starting 5/7/08 at 5:30pm until 1/9/09 at 8:30pm.

    Second attempt was "Remember class from 5:30-8:30pm every Wednesday until 5/7/08". Same result as first.

    Third attempt was "Remember class on 1/9 from 5:30-8:30pm @weekly until 5/7/08". This produced "Occurs every Wednesday effective 01/09/2008 from 5:30 PM for 2859 hours".

    I'm beginning to think it's not possible to schedule a period of time in which to schedule weekly (or otherwise recurring) appointments? Am I right?

    Zero response from customer service Last reply on May 13, 2008 00:51.

    Customer service is unresponsive. It's been nearly a month since I posted here and have sent multiple e-mails to help@iwantsandy.com with no response. I need to fix one issue with the e-mail address on my account that is preventing me from using Sandy, but no one at Values of N has responded.

    My original post is here: http://getsatisfaction.com/iwantsandy...

    It is very similar to this issue except I didn't delete the account: http://getsatisfaction.com/iwantsandy...

    Would someone please contact me?
