How to not list repeat events in daily digest every single day?

biweekly repeat events show up in daily digest every day. is there a way to have them in the digest only the day I need to remember?

I set up a biweekly reminder on Sunday but next month shows the reminder on Monday.

"remind me to take out recyclables sunday evening @biweekly" is the line I sent. I expect that to send me a reminder every Sunday night beginning with the nearest Sunday. When I check the web site and look at pending things for this month and next month, the recyclables reminder shows up at 6 PM on every MONDAY. I tried adding "@weekends" to it but that didn't help. Any ideas?
