SOLVED: Set daily digest to not deliver daily and saved, then went back in and set daily digest to deliver again. The next day I received the digest (and still good 2 days later)
I have not received a daily digest for several months. I emailed Sandy's helpers but (other than the automated message) I have not heard anything.
This is becoming quite frustrating.
I've been looking around and can't find it, please let me know if there is. If not, I'd love to see it integrated in the future. Perhaps a shortened version of the digest.
I just think it'd be really useful to have my list of stuff to do waiting for me on my phone every morning.
Is there a way to prevent RSS retrieval of a bookmarked URL's content from showing up in daily digest emails (ie: in bookmarks that are also tagged @todo)?
The way I am used to organizing things is that I set my assignments as all day events on a calender the day that they are due. If I were to use Sandy, I would need to know about my assignments with enough time to do them.
Update aftermath - as far as I can tell, some great changes took place with the new update, but I'm really perplexed with the new view on Checkboxes in the Daily Digest.
I use a number of different tags to keep items separate (work, home, calls) - and was VERY happy that they all had a nice little checkbox next to them. I'm happy you changed the weird 3 way checkbox in favor of the new simpler one, but NO checkbox by default on non-todo tagged items? Why? That seems kind of crazy to me. Not a fan of having to double tag (@work @todo) items I send to Sandy now.
I guess I'm not sure what kind of work flow you guys are suggesting now...
Do you recommend NOT adding @todo to all new items, and just having them be non-checkboxed in the daily digest - then we click "edit" then "forget" to remove them? If so that seems like a step backwards in ease of use.
Do tell...
and BTW Rael - you do a GREAT job with keeping this board alive!
The way I use sandy right now is to create separate reminder items for each task, and have them sit as unread messages in my mailbox (I don't like unread messages in my mailbox:)).
What I'd like to do is disable the daily digest, since I don't work with a daily reminder of tasks: In fact, I use a link from sandy to 30boxes to view items scheduled for the day if I have to.
So is there any way I can disable the daily digest emailf from Sandy ?
When I get my daily digest I reply and make changes to various changes to details and schedules and would like her to resend my daily digest with the new updates. Also I like to get my digest at the end of the day to make sure I've done everything. So I guess I'm asking if there is a way to ask Sandy to send another daily digest? Like look up daily digest or something?
Is there a way to show all of my @todos in the Daily Digest? I'd like to see everything I have to do and a list of when it's due, but if I put a date on an item, it will only show up on that date.
I am new to Sandy so this question is probably easy. But, now that I get my daily digest of calendar and to do's, how to I respond to have them marked as completed or done thru my email so I won't get them listed in the next day's digest. I only want to get those things I need still to do or work on. I don't want to have to sign on to the web site each day to get this done.
My daily digest includes some custom tags like @urgent, @work and others. Most of the items with these tags are also marked as @todo. Once I'm done with them and change @todo to @done they still show up on daily digest under @urgent and @work tag sections. Is archiving items the only solution to loose them from daily digest?
I've unexpectedly been without internet for a few days. Now that I'm online, I can't view the daily digests from the past few days or even what I scheduled on them without having to search for the specific item.
"Yesterday" brings up yesterday's daily digest, but "This Week," "This Month," and "Anytime" only bring up today and future events.
Basically I want to look back and make sure I hit everything on the list and reschedule those that I didn't. Any suggestions?
