I have several weekly appointments which do not occur over the summer months. I have changed the start-date on these appointments to the first or second week of September, and they (correctly) no longer appear on my daily digest - but I continue to receive notifications for them via twitter and email. Notifications are set to "2 hours before", not to a specific date/time.
The inline action icons that appear beside each item (edit, archive, forget) don't appear on mouseover in my Internet Explorer. I tested on another computer's IE and the icons do appear. Instead, when I mouseover, the item's line spacing expands, so the page constantly looks jitter-y.
Everything's fine on my Firefox, and I'm aware that it is a better browser for lots of reasons. However I mainly use Bubbles for Sandy, which uses IE, and I don't want to change to Prism at the moment.
I suspect it may be my Internet Options, but I don't know where to begin troubleshooting. Most of the 'Multimedia' options are checked in my Advanced tab, sans 'Smart image dithering' which I tested checked and unchecked. Also, I am still able to see other images, such as the Snapshots icon, the reminder icon and the repeat icon.
I have a reminder for a birthday. As I can only one "reminder" I set it for 3 weeks before to remind me to get present. I then wanted to set it for 2 weeks before but only this up and coming birthday. When I go to web site it says "do you really want to edit whole set" but there's no "No just this one occurence" option :-(
I realise i could have replied to Sandy's twitter with "Remind me in a week" but there's no way of seeing this is there? And there's no way of doing this if you inadvertantly deleted the twitter or email :-(
When I edit something, that I've already shared with a friend, does their calender and tags update as well? I shared a chore for my friend, but put the wrong date and forgot to tag with @weekly. I fixed it on my account, but will it update on his?
I'm puzzled. After sending Sandy an item, I realized that I forgot to add the phone number. I thought this would be easy to do. I logged on to Sandy, found the item, and clicked on "edit." However, this brings up a brief dialogue box that provides the name and other fields. The part I need to edit was further down in the context. I clicked on "more context" and could see the area I wanted to edit, but could find no way to do so.
This question was posted in another form three months ago, but no one answered it.
This is a really minor situation, but since it seems to be something set up to work, I figured I'd ask about it.
I've looked through Sandy's help documentation, but I can't figure out how to associate a web address with an item, aside from editing the item after she's already got the request. I experimented a couple of times but couldn't figure out how to get it to work.
Also, regarding that "URL" field I get when editing an item...could it be tweaked so that the "http://" prefix is optional? When I try entering it without that part, she assumes it's a section of her own website (e.g., entering "www.google.com" makes Sandy give me a link that goes to "http://www.iwantsandy.com/www.google.com").
I want to use the new @birthday tag and so decided to edit the existing birthday reminders and replace the @yearly tag with @birthday. However, when saving an edited entry on the website, the "Saving" message does not go away. If I reload the page, I get two entries for the item, one with @yearly and one with @birthday.
I have todos that are multi step. So I just edit the details when a step has been completed to let me know what is still pending. Today I went to edit a todo, which has more context [so you have to hit the link]; when I went to edit the todo on the "less context" information was shown. Thus I could only edit after that point, and couldn't see all the notes for my todo.
