Is it possible to create a list with Sandy via Jott? All of my attempts end up as notes and not lists. Something like the following would be very useful:
"Remember list groceries. Items eggs and butter and cheese"
First of all, great site, Sandy helps me every day, awesome job!
I would love to be able to add tags to individual items within a list and have only that item be tagged, for example:
#1 Wood working project @projects
* Determine amount of wood required @computer
* Call Lumber store @Phone calls
* Buy lumber @errands
in this example, Sandy wood tag the entire list to a projects tag, then tag the first item "determine... required" to a computer tag, the second item to a @Phone call tag and so on.
This would allow me to have Sandy Lookup all my phone calls at a glance yet still organize the project actions into one List. This is right along to lines of David Allen's "Getting things Done" methodology, which I'm a fan of.
Thanks for the great site! Keep up the excellent work!
Hi, I have been unable to create a list, such as a grocery list. Is it possible to create a standard weekly list and then add to it. Thank you so much for your help!
I use Sandy with Twitter, since I'm abroad and don't have mobile support. However, regardless whether I tweet Sandy via mobile or Twitter webpage, I don't receive the list items, just list name and tag. Everything else works fine. Although I get email confirmation of list items, I'd love to get the list items to Twitter.
Additionally, yesterday it took 10 hours for Sandy to respond to my tweets (got bunch of confirmations overnight) Was Sandy just busy with some Valentine's rendezvous or do others have this problem?
She remembered the bout on each of the days I listed for her, but there was no sign of the time I specified in the head of the list. When I deleted all of the items, and re-submitted the list with the times in each of the list items, everything showed up as it should.
I know she's supposed to remember everything in the first line (unless overridden by something in an item on the list), so I can only assume I've found a bug.
It's nice how the bullets make lists, but we need the ability to insert a list or notes into an existing reminder... Once a non-list reminder is created, trying to edit it via the site is impossible.
If we need to add phone numbers, addresses, or other notes, we either put it in the reminder name, or have to delete and make a new reminder.
I've emailed for help and have gotten no reply. I formulate my lists *exactly* like it says to in the help guide, but it won't make it into a list for me. I've tried asterisk-space-item and asterisk-item with no space. It won't make it a list, it won't show the list when I have it texted to my phone, and if I go to iwantsandy.com it won't show any lists in "my lists." Help?
How do I open a list as plain text? When I click on my list on the Sandy website, it shows me the details of it and has a link that says "Plain text version" but when I click on the link, it tries to open an iCalendar file, not a plain text file. I would like to open the list as plain text so I can print just the list.
It's hard to read my @todo list when the date is on the left side of the todo content. My eye had to make a zig-zag across the todo list because some of my todos are undated while others have due dates. I think this could be rectified by displaying the todos in a table with a separate column for due/reminder date.
This goes hand-in-hand with the comment about sorting todos. I think if you could create specialized sorting of lists or make list filters (i.e. list all @todo but not @done matching ANY date), then Sandy wouldn't have to worry about pleasing us all. We could customize our own lists.
I am not sure whether I am missing a subtlety of the numbering system or if Sandy is renumbering things behind my back. This morning, I asked Sandy to forget an old reminder ("forget #1") by reply to the reminder. Her response was to forget Administrative Professionals Day (which wasn't on the list). I have had similar problems before with Sandy updating the wrong entry in a list. I always use the numbering in whatever message I am replying to; is there some different list to which I should be referring instead?
