In order to save money on SMS charges (yet still get my Twitter Reminders in SMS and be able to snooze them), I'd like to be able to independently toggle whether Sandy sends confirmations and reminders to me through Twitter, ideally on the Twitter Settings page, similar to what Remember the Milk offers. (I would still like to receive Confirmations through email, though, so I don't want to turn them off altogether.)
Hello! I am trying to change a simple setting under settings/email, but keep getting the same error message. I'd like to switch email to plain text, but when I try to save that preference, I get the dreaded antacid error message. I can change and save every other option with no resistance. What's going on? Thanks!
I occassionally send e-mails to Sandy from my secondary e-mail address. My understanding is that all reminders would go to my primary e-mail address and not my secondary e-mail address. But Sandy is sending one particular reminder to both my primary and secondary e-mail addressess. I would prefer that the reminder not go to my secondary e-mail address, but I see no setting where I can either allow or prohibit Sandy's e-mail reminders to the secondary address. Please help!
I have three accounts, two work related and one personal. I would love to get emails to all or some of them. Unfortunately Sandy only listens to two emails.
You can now now let Sandy know whether or not she should include iCalendar (calendar invitation) and vCard (contact) attachments in her replies.
So whether you just don't need the attachments, have already subscribed your Outlook or iCal calendar to Sandy's iCal feed [http://iwantsandy.com/help/feeds], don't have a calendar or address book to fill, or whatever your reason, you'll find a new "Email attachments" setting at http://iwantsandy.com/settings/email to turn them off (or back on again -- the default).
This setting is particularly useful to those of you emailing primarily from your BlackBerries as the silly (yet incredibly useful) devices don't seem to know what to make of anything but plain text (and a modicum of HTML). (If you're interested in the gory details on this, take a gander at http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/search... .)
I often go to bed well after midnight, but to me "tomorrow" doesn't start until after I've slept, so I'd like to be able to configure sandy to make the day boundary somthing like 5am.
So at 2am I can do:
sandy, remind me to buy bananas tomorrow afternoon.
and it will remind me "tomorrow" rather than the day after tomorrow as it currently would.
I recieved my first Daily Digest email at 4:18am this morning. I have push email to my mobile so this woke me up pretty early. It took seraching in this forum to find a link to the default time and timezone settings. I can also only get to the daily digest customization settings from the link in the Daily Digest email. Why are most of the settings hidden from our view and only accessable via links that we have to hunt down? what other settings are hidden from us until we ask?
