I read somewhere about a mechanism to add several items with common info such that you only type the common info (e.g. tag) on the first line. I can't seem to find the syntax to that. I thought the Guide on the website is comprehensive but it doesn't seem to have an answer.
My daily digest includes some custom tags like @urgent, @work and others. Most of the items with these tags are also marked as @todo. Once I'm done with them and change @todo to @done they still show up on daily digest under @urgent and @work tag sections. Is archiving items the only solution to loose them from daily digest?
I've ended up with tags in tag list that I want to remove. For example I have some items tagged @school but, by accident, I tagged a couple of items @schoool. I'm not going to use the incorrect tag anymore, so I'd like to remove it from my tags. Can i do this or I will my spelling errors follow me forever... :)
I have tried several times to add @todo and it says it is saving but it seems to be gone. I cannot find it and then it does not come back when I search.
For example, I need to be reminded to check my email every one to two hours. So if I want her to send me a reminder every two hours, how do I set that up without having to manually ask her to remind me each and every time?
1. Go to Your Stuff > To Dos...
2. Choose Sort "By Tag"
--> Notice that the tags are mixed together and there are no headers for each tag like other views (by date, by last updated).
1. When displaying items after a search or a tag selection, offer to group things by type. This is much easier visually and more organized than just having a long list of mixed up things.
2. Display a count of the number items (not done) associated with a tag. This makes it easier to see what tags are not really being used as well as seeing whether a tag has any open items.
I had an item remembered as an "@giftidea", then realized I was using "@gifts" more often, so I switched that guy to "@gifts". It does not show up when I search for "@gifts".
It does however show up when I search under its original tag, "@giftidea".
