Advance Notice Birthday Reminders
I want 4 days advance notice that someone's birthday is coming up so I can prepare to send a card, buy a gift and/or plan a celebration. I want this same reminder to come up annually. How can I do this?
Also, wouldn't it be nice if iwantsandy had a email birthday card that I could send out?
Thanks! Susan

Inappropriate? If you are using Microsoft Outlook, there is an easy way to do it. Go into Calendar and select the date you want the reminder (for example, if the birthday is March 6, you might set the reminder for March 2). Double click on a time on the calender to get the options screen and you can type in the first screen the subject (example - Sandy's Bday). Then click on "Recurrence" at the top of the toolbar and it will give you options to choose for Daily, weekly, monthly, yearly. Click on "yearly" and make sure that the box to the right that says "no end date" is checked. You should get your reminders yearly from then on.

Inappropriate?Couple of ways you could do this with Sandy.
Remind me "Dad's Birthday is March 4" on march 1 @yearly.
The quotes make sandy ignore March 4 as the reminder date and use march 1 instead. but then I kinda like having it on the actualy birthday date. So
Remember Dad's Birthday is March 4 @yearly
then once I got the confirmation I would edit it with the website. There is a drop down box for how many days before the event the reminder is sent.
I would like a way to do this just with the emails but I haven't found one. -
Inappropriate?@BillM, you might want to try this: http://getsatisfaction.com/iwantsandy...
@sweetsue62, once you set the birthday item and set a desired reminder for it (see link above), just add @yearly tag and you're set.
