The last few stragglers in Sandy's outgoing email queue just went out and she's completely caught up with both her incoming and outgoing queues.

Jotting to Sandy should once again be working as expected. Note that anything you jotted to Sandy earlier today would not have reached her, but everything from here on out should be received and replied to as usual.

At around 6:30am and again at around 6:50am (PST aka America/Los Angeles), our colocation facility (where Sandy's and Stikkit's servers live) suffered power-outages.
The result was that Sandy and Stikkit went offline and — due to the quick succession of power-outages — some of our servers didn't weren't very happy when they came back online.
I headed down to the colocation facility, reassured our servers that all was indeed right with the world, and brought both Sandy and Stikkit back online.

Sandy plowed through her email queue in no time flat and you should all now have received responses to mail you sent her. If you still haven't heard back in reply to any of your messages, please give it a little while as they were most likely deferred given that they couldn't be delivered at the time — they'll make their way to Sandy's inbox on their own shortly.

Sandy's web site [http://iwantsandy.com] is intermittently available at the moment as we get things back into shape — and the servers have a chance to keep up with everyone repeatedly hitting the Refresh button on their browsers.

Because Jott's service relies upon Sandy's web site being available, jotting to Sandy right now will also be inconsistent.

Sandy isn't yet responding to Twitter requests but will be shortly.

I just wanted to add a final follow-up to let you know that all is back to normal, Sandy is merrily back to work, Stikkit is sticking to it, and all is once again well at Values of n World HQ.
I'll be having words with our Internet service provider to make sure this sort of thing doesn't happen again.
