How can I remove tags from the "My Tags" area?
I want to delete tags that I didn't add, like "Samples". Sandy added that when I signed up. BTW, are these even being read by anyone in the company? A lot of unanswered posts from quite along time ago.

Inappropriate?A reply to my own Problem: Marking an event/todo/ or whatever would be a lot easier if I could just reply to a received reminder or digest with a command to mark it as Done. As it is now I must click on the link for that item, which opens the browser on my Blackberry, then Login to I Want Sandy - which is a pain on a Blackberry because either the device or the site (not sure which) does not remember the login status, and then mark it as Done.
Thanks! -
Inappropriate?Hi J-Mac,
We are indeed here and responding as quickly as we can -- either by working on the issue itself or posting a response.
As to marking things as done without having to jump to the browser on your Blackberry, you can indeed update and mark things as to-do or done — in fact just about anything you might be jumping to the web site to do you can do via email (and more too!).
You'll find lots of examples in Sandy's guide [http://iwantsandy.com/help/guide] and Cheatsheet [http://iwantsandy.com/help/cheatsheet], but here are a few that — given your posts here — would probably be most useful to you:
To snooze a reminder, reply with any of:
remind me in 15 minutes
remind me again in an hour
remind me tomorrow
To mark something as done — let's say it was listed in email from Sandy as "#1 Do something" — reply with any of:
update #1 @done
update @done
And so forth.
Best,

Inappropriate? But you didn't answer the original question:
How can I remove tags from the "My Tags" area?
I don't need the "sample" tag, either. Or the badly transcribed ones that found their way there via Jott (e.g., "@sms?)" and "@smf"). How can I delete a tag from my entire list of tags (not from an individual item).
Thanks. -
Inappropriate? The only way to remove a tag from your "tag cloud" is to make sure that no Sandy items use that tag. This means that each of the items that use the tag must be manually edited to remove the tag.
The fast way to remove a tag from the tag cloud is to click on the tag name in the tag cloud. Sandy will display a list of all items with that tag. You can then edit the items one at a time.
People have reported that tags in the tag cloud will not go away until ALL items with that tag are edited to remove the tag. This can include archived items. (I'm not sure if this problem still exists, it might have been changed.) I know that the default list of items with a particular tag **does not include archived items**. So finding archived items that use the tag you want to remove can be confusing.
To include archived items in your tag list, add "archived=1" to the url. This will cause those items using both the "archive" tag AND the tag you want to remove to also be displayed in the list. (In fact, it's probably better to add all three special types to the url. Including "done=1" and "past=1".)
