How do I add address to contacts?

I've been trying to add addresses to existing contacts with phone numbers by typing: Remember "Name's" address is "Address." On occasion, it will add the address to the entry, but most of the time it will only create a typical remember entry (not a contact entry) instead of adding the info. I also have this problem when asking Sandy to remember on address without a pre-existing contact entry. I only get a regular remember entry. Am I doing something wrong (and is this question confusing enough)?
