I can't see the content of a list in twitter/text msg
I've created a grocery list named Cookies. I want Sandy to send me what I wrote IN that list via text msg (aka what ingredients I need to pick up). I've set up a reminder to which I received just the list name (cookies). I asked Lookup Cookies, and again received #31 Cookies, but not what I wrote in that list.

Inappropriate?Hi Tanya,
To perhaps stretch a pun beyond what is strictly warranted: it's on our list. We have actually been working our way around to having both lists and lookups better represented in Twitter so that you can do much the same thing via SMS or IM as you can by email.
I do have a question for you (and anyone else who'd like to pitch in an opinion): What if the list were long? Would you expect the entire thing thrown back over the wall, so to speak, even if it spans 4-5 SMS/text messages? Or would you expect to have to respond with a "More" or "Next" after each item (or when the list runs out of SMS/text space — 140 characters) or just have Sandy pause for you to ask her to go on when the 140 characters are filled?

Inappropriate?Hi Rael
If the list was longer than 140 Characters (keeping in mind that with Twitter DM, its LESS than 140 closer to 128), I wouldn't mind replying to get the rest of the list. Or have it as a list options to play with online. For example if I'd be setting up a short list, I'd want to keep it compact (1-2 texts). Something longer, I'm not sure I'd want it sent to my cell as a text, I'd probably use the Daily Digest instead.
As a bandaid solution, I set it up this way:
"remind me in 10 min" then split my ingredients in 2 messages without asterix so like a normal reminder, and that was good enough :) Until we can see list content of course -
Inappropriate?I'd opt for the whole list be sent to me at once. This prevents me from forgetting to ask for the rest of the list and miss something important on that list. If I get the whole package instantly I save time and money otherwise waisted for requests of other parts of the list :)
