I just received 40 email reminders, 24 twitter messages, and 20 SMS messages for one event reminder
I have one reminder that just sent 40 emails, 24 twitter messages, and 20 SMS messages. Oops. We are up to 56 email messages. I was able to go into settings and disable SMS messaging and twitter messaging. I will have to try disabling email notification too. I think that there is a problem with notifications.

Inappropriate?This is happening to me as well, though I don't have SMS or twitter. I'm getting flooded by reminder emails at a pace of about 500-600 per minute. -
Inappropriate?Thanks again for reporting this, Cupcake 41331. And thanks for following up at help@iwantsandy.com. Thanks to your information, Sandy and I were able to discover the flaw in how she scheduled the next reminder for recurring events. It is now fixed.
And just FYI, this was an edge case that affected only a few of our users. We certainly apologize for the spamming, and have added tests to ensure that Sandy doesn't do it again.
