I want Sandy Export available
Howdy, folks.
With Sandy's impending shut-down, we've added a new feature to the site: Export.
To make your stuff portable and importable, Sandy will gather all of your appointments, to-dos, contacts, bookmarks, lists, and notes into 6 standards-based files: iCalendar for appointments and to-dos, vCard for contacts, and plain text for notes, lists, and bookmarks.
You can download all of your stuff and import it into an alternate calendar, to-do list, contact management or note-taking application.
You'll also be provided a person-readable text file containing everything you've had Sandy remember for you. (Open it in your favorite text editor (Notepad, TextEdit, Word, et al) or your Web browser.)
You'll find an Export link at the top of every page of the site, as a new tab in the Settings [http://iwantsandy.com/settings], or you can jump directly to the Export page at: http://iwantsandy.com/export
Best,
Rael

Inappropriate?Clicking this link simply redirects me to my home (http://iwantsandy.com/home). Is the service not fully functional yet?
I’m anxious
-
Inappropriate?I'm having the same problem. Despite being logged in, I still keep getting redirected to the home page.
I’m freaking out!

Inappropriate?Clicking the tab in my settings took me to my daily digest http://www.iwantsandy.com/home
Going to http://www.iwantsandy.com/export redirected me to http://www.iwantsandy.com/home
Something is not working here.
Note: I was logged in, and it still does not work!
I’m anxious and stressed

Inappropriate?Howdy, folks.
It seems I didn't remove the protection on the feature after testing it with Yeraze and others. I've just done so and am pushing an update to Sandy's servers right now.
Sorry for the inconvenience and confusion.

Export should now be working for everyone. -
Yep, working now -
I'm in! Thanks, Rael. -
Inappropriate? For the record, I just successfully downloaded all the files, and they look good as far as I can tell. Thank you again, Rael. It's oddly poignant looking over those hundreds of appointments and to-dos for the past eleven months. What a bummer that the service is shutting down. Anyhow, good luck to you.
I’m glad to have my data, sorry to see Sandy go

Hi Nbr. Thanks for the lovely parting though. I felt much the same myself today as I downloaded > 2000 appointments, > 600 to-dos, ... -
Inappropriate?one major concern for me here: I don't see the extended context for anything! for virtually everything I added to Sandy, I used the subject line of my e-mail to enter the commands and used the body to keep all of my relevant notes for that entry.
those notes are gone. even in the 'everything' text file.
please tell me I'm being a dunce.
I’m very worried!

Inappropriate?Howdy, folks.
Some of you were asking whether Stikkit export was in the works: it is indeed!
