iCal notifications
I have received ical notices on some events (by adding @reply tag). When I go to "accept the invitation" to the events, I get an error message saying that the invitation was sent from an email address other than my address. So, they won't show up in my calendar. Earlier this morning, I was able to accept some invitations without any problems. Any suggestions? I'm fairly new to iCal, but I've been able to figure out everything else on my own. Thanks!

I'm sorry you're frustrated -- and sorrier still that this question went unanswered.
The issue you encountered usually results from your not having a card chosen as your "Me" card in Address Book for OS X that includes your email address (the one receiving the emailed invitation) as one of its addresses.
To rectify this:
1. Open Address Book.
2. Find your "Me" card (look for the card for your name) — or create one if it doesn't exist.
3. Add your email address to the card.
And now you should have no trouble opening that invitation or any subsequent invitation sent your way — no matter whether from Gmail, Outlook, or Sandy.
