I'm not receiving my mobile confirmation. I am on AT&T.
I go to Settings->mobile and enter my cell phone as ###-###-#### and select AT&T, but I never receive the confirmation.
I've tried Cingular, adding a 1-, removing hyphens (not every combination tho), but haven't had success.

Have you tried prefixing your number with a +1 (assuming you're in the U.S.) or +{country code} (if not in the US)? It should look like:
