is it possible to change default reminder to 1 minute before event instead of 15 minutes?
Ideally I would like Sandy to remind me of an event at the time I specify instead of the 15 minutes in advance. i.e. If I email Sandy to remind me to take out the garbage at 6pm I would like to get her email at 6pm (or a minute minute before) to remind me, instead of 5:45pm with the current default settings
I know I can change this for individual event reminders but is it possible (or will it be possible in the future) to choose a different default reminder time than 15 minutes?
thanks!

Howdy, folks!
You've one half of your wish -- and the other half is in the works.
If you'll meander on over to http://iwantsandy.com/settings/datetime, you'll notice that we just added a Reminder interval setting ("How long before an appointment should I send you a reminder?") Prefer a reminder 5 minutes before appointments? 2 hours before? Need a running start 3 days before? It's up to you!

Inappropriate?anyone?

Inappropriate?I too would like the ability to change the default reminder time from 15 minutes to something different. In my situation, I often use the 1-hour reminder, as most of my Sandy-based reminders require me to travel to another client, and that provides me enough time to prepare.

Inappropriate?Agreed. It would be nice to be able to specify a reminder period. Like, Remind me 30 minutes beforehand to pick up the kids at 4:30.
I’m gleeful

Inappropriate?I agree. Should definately be able to configure as much time as you want for a reminder. This would be nice to be able to set a default and then the ability to set it in the reminder email for Sandy. I would most likely use a remind time of zero minutes before the time due but there are occasions where I would like a little warning or prep time.

Inappropriate?Totally agreed! It's strange that this option could be set using web interface but not using e-mail
I’m sad

Inappropriate?I think there are two very good suggestions in this thread:
1) ability to set your own _default_ reminder "advance notice" time.
2) ability to specify a different value for it in each "remind me" message, without having to visit the website.
These two between them might just be what it takes to push Sandy from a novelty to a really valuable (tool? 'assistant'?) for me.

thanks Rael!! -
Inappropriate?Awesome! This'll make a big difference. (Most appointments that I need a reminder about, I also need way more than 15 minutes lead-time for the reminder to actually do me any good.)
Thanks!
I’m off to set that to about 60, maybe 90 minutes.

Inappropriate? Thanks. Great work guys...Can't wait for the second half. It is nice to know that some groups out there actually listen to their client base for improvement suggestions.
I’m happy

Inappropriate?Hi Non-Sequitur,
Absolutely! While we're a small team and need to balance requests against both what we already have in the works and what we think is actually the best way to go about things, Sandy works for you and we owe her all we can provide to help Sandy help you.

Inappropriate?Any word on the second half (setting individual reminder times for emails)?
I’m really wanting this.
