Is there a way to select EITHER an SMS OR an email reminder?
Subject says it all. I'd like to be able to select when I ask Sandy to remind me whether she sends an email or an SMS. Is there a way to do this? Looks like I can either turn SMS off (just email), or on (both email and SMS), but not select which type of reminder to receive.

Inappropriate?I think you can have it just sms too, but that's not what your asking for is it?
I'd like to see this on individual items. Some items are email reminder type items (or just put into the digest) and some are important enough for texts. This would save texting minutes too. -
Inappropriate?I think it might be problematic to try and be able to modify this through the text strings on individual events. However, I see no reason why there can't be preference settings to set SMS, email, or both reminders as default for todos vs appointments, for example. -
Inappropriate?I don't see how it could be problematic. Just have Sandy learn "email only" and "SMS only" and have the default be both.
Or, you can have sandy detect the word via or by and pay attention to the words email or sms when they come after this word in a line. Like this:
Remind me to send email to Kathy at 7:00pm today via email.
People will just have to remember to put the by or via after the name of the item if it contains the word email, but that isn't hard.
Anywho, if you had a real assistant, you wouldn't want them reminding you of everything would you? That what the daily digest is for. -
