Is there any way to edit the text of an item by email? For example, let's say I send Sandy an email saying 'Remember to read The Book by A. Person' but subsequently want to amend that to 'The book by Another Person', can I amend it by email?

    Howdy!

    Sure you can...

    1. Ask Sandy for whatever it is you wanted to edit (if you already have it in a reply from Sandy, skip this step) like so:

    look up The Book

    2. In Sandy's replies she always enumerates anything she's remembered for you so that you can refer to it easily (particularly useful for BlackBerrying folk who can't edit quoted email messages when replying). Find the item you're looking for -- let's say it was the 2nd result in the look-up.

    3. Compose an email reply to Sandy. At the top of the message (it can be anywhere, but you can save Sandy's eyesight by top-replying), type:

    update #2 The Book by Another Person

    4. Hit send. She'll reply with a confirmation within a few seconds (if you have replies turned on -- the default).

    You can update just about any aspect of anything you've asked her to remember for you in the same manner:

    * Update the date and/or time of an appointment: update #1 tomorrow 4pm
    * Mark something done: update #1 @done
    * Replace tags: update #1 @book @read
    * Add and remove tags: update #1 +@favorite -@read

    (Those last couple are some power-ups not documented (yet) but there for those for whom such things are useful.)

    P.s. Of course you can also use some of the shortcuts I've mentioned before in your look-ups and updates:

    l The Book
    u#2 The Book

    (That's a lower-case "L" in "l The Book", by the way.)
