Messages that Sandy doesn't understand. (due to Jott failure)
I get an email reply from Sandy, saying that it got the message (the Jott) but that the message didn't include anything to do. (i.e. Sandy didn't understand the message.) This reply provides a link to the original email (from Jott). But the actual site [iwantsandy.com] doesn't list anything at all. It did receive an email didn't it? From Jott. Was it just ignored? Where can I find a list of all emails to Sandy that were ignored or disregarded?
The more people who ask this question, the more it gets noticed.

Inappropriate?I agree, I've been in this situation as well. Would definitely be nice if Sandy showed more context for Jott failures.
I’m confused

Inappropriate?I found out that Sandy remembers every instruction that you send her. There's a list at iwantsandy.com/email This list includes all communications that you send Sandy, whether it be by email, sent from the website, by Jott, or by Twitter. (I assume by SMS too.) The list also contains all of Sandy's responses to your instructions.
So there is a record of what you told Sandy to do. Even if you don't have email replies turned on. (http://iwantsandy.com/settings/email) The problem is that there isn't an easy way to search this list for those instructions that Sandy didn't understand. (Problem #1) The search box at the website doesn't work to search the email list. (Problem #2) There also isn't a general way to send a lookup command to Sandy to have her lookup anything from previous commands. (OK, actually I want to lookup her reply to one of your previous commands.) Example: lookup "couldn't find anything you asked me to do".
The best way I have found to search for errors is to have the email replies setting turned on, and occasionally search all messages from Sandy for the phrase "couldn't find anything you asked me to do". (I use a filter so that all emails from Sandy beginning with "Re:" get stored in their own folder and don't crowd my inbox.)
I think what should really happen is that Sandy should generate a standard error event and add it to your calendar. The event would be scheduled for the time that Sandy received the communication and it should be marked with @todo or @error or something like that so that it remains visible in the daily digest, searches, etc. The context of the event would, of course, be the message that was sent to Sandy and was not understood. This would be much better than "failing silently".
I’m not sure how I feel about this.
