Minor Sandy issues
Opening a thread for minor Sandy issues (web page typos, etc.) that don't deserve their own threads. Rael, feel free to suggest handling these another way.
First issue: typo on help/feeds -- heading "How do I subscribe my calendar Sandy's calendar feed" is missing a 'to'.

Inappropriate? Thanks, Rich. Typo fixed and should disappear shortly.

Inappropriate? Here's another one -- when I send Sandy something like
r Super 70s Dance Party Sat 8pm
she schedules the appointment correctly, but she also parses "70s" as part of an address and creates a contact. I think you can assume that if 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s (and 60's, '60s, etc.) are in a message, they're meant as plain text and not to be parsed. -
Inappropriate? Here's another one: when I am editing an item on the Web, and i include something in the "Tags" field but forget the leading @, my entry gets ignored (my tag is stripped out) after I save. Shouldn't the @ be implied, and restored by Sandy?

Inappropriate?Here's another one:
I normally use Firefox 2.0.0.9 under Mac OS 10.4.11.
In Firefox, in the "edit item" popup form, the text caret is not visible (e.g., in the "tags" field), even when I am editing. This makes the form difficult to use. (In Safari, the text caret is visible. So I'm going to start running Sandy in Safari instead.) -
Inappropriate?Sandy doesn't parse married-couple names correctly -- that is,
r John and Mary Smith, 1 Babbling Brook, Charlotte, NC
will record a contact for Mary Smith only. I realize that this is tough to get right and I'm not sure if there's a solution that would please everybody -- just wanted to note that I'd bumped into it. -
Inappropriate?Sandy doesn't correctly parse addresses that are in this form:
500 N St NW, Washington, DC 20001 -
Inappropriate?On the list. Thanks, Rich!

Inappropriate?Good point! Thanks again, Rich.

Inappropriate?Hi Rich,
This is an incredibly irritating bug in Firefox that we encountered in Stikkit too. And despite it being quite a while since then, it remains unfixed (see https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug...).
That said, I just put in a workaround that will appear on the site tomorrow when we push our next changes.

I’m going on Safari

Inappropriate?Howdy Rich et al,
This fix has been deployed and you should now have a caret/cursor in every text field.

Inappropriate?Sandy doesn't correctly parse this:
r Jeff Smith address 123 Skipjack Dr, Fort Washington, MD 20744
specifically, the state and zip are chopped off, no matter what variation I try.
