parsing not sophisticated enuf to remember hat size
If I ask to update my contact with this:
remember that dad's hat size is 7-1/2
Sandy instead makes an appointment for 7am at 1/2/2009.
Dad's hat size is 7

Sorry about that -- that's definitely a bug and one that's now in our queue to fix.
In the meantime -- and I know this isn't ideal -- you can "hide" things that seem like dates or times (even though this one really shouldn't, of course) by putting them in quotes, like so:
remember that "dad's hat size is 7-1/2"
or
remember that dad's hat size is "7-1/2"
That said, we'll hop on this bug as soon as we can and make sure your dad's hat size is remembered correctly.
(I don't actually know _my_ hat-size, come to think of it.)
