Reminder to stop distraction
Is there any way to schedule a random reminder? I often get distracted by internet surfing, but if I could receive an email randomly through out the day, maybe it would help me stop this awful habit. It might say "Hi [name], you asked me to remind you to get back to work. Working already? Good girl!"

Inappropriate?Hi Driven,
I find that the best way to keep myself on time and on track is to have Sandy know what I've got coming up next and listen to her when she texts or Twitters me a reminder. If I just don't have something next that I should be getting to, I either decide that I've a little free to time to meander, read RSS feeds, etc until something does come up or I pick something from my To-do list to do and ask her to remind me about that in 30 minutes or an hour.
You have to give yourself permission to meander and play and generally feed your mind with tangential bits and bobs when you've the time and your mind seems to want to wander. I find Sandy's a great way to have that cake and yet know when to stop eating -- to completely mangle a saying.
At the same time, if you've to-dos to do (I'll never tire of saying that ;-), those in-between times are perfect for getting a couple-three smaller to-dos -- or one medium-sized to-do -- done.
I'll be glad to share more of my methodology if you'd like; I've quite adopted (and I say this not just because I've a stake in Sandy's success) "the Sandy way" of having the freedom to meander yet knowing just when it's time to move on -- without having to just trust that I'll think to look at my calendar.
I hope this is helpful.

Inappropriate?I would also find that useful. The above technique wouldn't work for me because my todo list is, "Code". haha. I couldn't write out what I want to do because I just do.
