Reminders are not being sent!
I am not receiving any recently created reminders, either via email or sms. The reminders appear on Sandy's web page, correctly worded and tagged, but the actual reminders are never sent. Please advise. This has been going on for several days now.

Howdy, folks.
Sandy caught up a little while ago and you should have received your missing digests (and a couple of reminders that were scheduled for the past 30 minutes or so).
Again, I'm sorry for the lack of response (both in terms of reminders and posting here on GetSatisfaction)!

Inappropriate?I am still waiting for a reply to this and for two emails I have sent directly to report the same problem. At the moment, Sandy is useless to me because I do not trust it to send me the reminders which have been set. I also would have expected some kind of acknowledgement that someone is aware of my problem and that it is being dealt with.

Inappropriate?I have been having similar problems with reminders not being sent. Things seem to have improved in the last three days but still aren't 100%. Similar to you, I have not received a reply to my emails. I reported my problem initially on May 16th and received a short reply on May 17th. Since then I have followed up with 4 emails to which I have not received any reply whatsoever. I finally gave up on May 22. It seems as though customer service has taken a serious nose-dive lately.

I completely agree about the poor customer service. I haven't heard anything with regard to the problems I have reported. It is a shame, but I can no longer trust Sandy with my data and will no look elsewhere for a solution. This is a web application with a great deal of potential, but the developers need to deal with customer service issues more professionally if they want it to be trusted as a business tool. -

So that I can take a look at those couple of reminders you're not receiving in particular, could you please right-click or ctrl-click on the reminder's name in on the web site, copy the link, and email that to help@iwantsandy.com.
I'll be on the lookout for your replies (and looking for those messages you had sent earlier).

As mentioned in my previous emails to help@iwantsandy.com, I wasn't receiving a fair number of my reminders. Since things improved a few days ago following a post of yours that I saw about a mail server issue, I assumed that that was my problem as well. My lingering trouble seemed to be with snoozed reminders. Sometimes I would receive them and other times I would not. Last night I set a reminder and snoozed it about 8 times, each time using a different time-frame (remind me in 2 mins; remind me in 8 mins; etc). I received every snoozed reminder and actually thought the problem had perhaps been resolved! However, when I awoke this morning, I noted that a 7 am daily recurring reminder that I just set up last night was not received! I have followed your request above and emailed you the link.

Inappropriate?Sandy "YOU ARE FIRED" I've only been a few days operating with Sandy and have had no reminders at all despite them having been receipted correctly. It looked a great idea but it just does not work. I guess it's back to putting reminders on the wall calendar. I might forget to check the calendar daily but at least the reminders are there

I sent you the item link in an email as requested but I have not heard back from you. Have you been able to determine why this item's reminders are not being sent (I'm still not receiving them!)?
I could just delete the item and recreate it to see if that fixes it but that doesn't help you in making Sandy better.
Please update me as soon as you can or I will delete it so that I can 'move on' from this annoying glitch.

Inappropriate?In the past two days that I've been re-employing Sandy, I haven't been getting reminders--I think mostly a when I update things. Unfortunately, i deleted them, so i can't send them to you (since I had thought it was just a Twitter problem)--but later I realized I also wasn't getting email updates either, so I don't think it's entirely a Twitter problem.
I think I had also given up on Sandy a few months ago, but realized it would be really useful when I'm on the go--hope you can fix it!

Inappropriate?Having the same problem, not getting reminders all of Sunday (Central time). This has happened before. I cannot afford to rely on this for "mission-critical" reminders knowing this can happen at random days. Great idea but if something bullet-proof isn't transparently (e.g. blogged/disclosed) put in place, I'm deleting my account. By the way, about the blog, might either update it more often or just remove it.

This service was a good idea while it worked but it has become entirely unreliable and I don't even know that anyone at I Want Sandy is working on a fix or even cares for that matter. I've heard the apologies however actions speak much louder than words. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.

I'm sorry I didn't see the new activity on this thread — it's hard to discern sometimes whether something's new or another person just started following an older GetSatisfaction topic. But that's neither here nor there...
I'm taking a gander to see what's causing some of you not to get email reminders or digests.
As for Twitter, as I just posted on another thread, they're doing some rate limiting while under heavy load, which means that Sandy's reading her direct messages and responding to them as quickly as she's allowed to by Twitter's API, but there will definitely be some delays on anything going through Twitter.

Sandy was indeed stuck again — most likely triggered by difficulty sending Twitter reminders. Now Twitter reminders obviously shouldn't be interfering with those that go out by email or SMS, but it seems they have indeed been doing so.
We're taking a look at the cause of the blockage and will work to further disconnect Sandy's Twitter reminders from all the others.
In the meantime, Sandy's doing some catch-up and should be completely up to date in a few minutes.

Heh. Given that I'd not had a chance to catch up on my Twitter reading today, it was handy to have growl on my Mac flood my screen with a day's worth of older messages (from Sandy and elsewhere) ;-). -
