Remove old recurring reminders from iCal feed

Hi guys. I'm loving Sandy more and more these days, especially its reminder functionality. I've almost entirely replaced my use of Backpack's (backpackit.com) reminders.

Today, however, I subscribed to Sandy's iCal feed within iCal (on Mac OS X). I also have subscribed to Backpack's iCal reminder feed. For now, I'm going to leave Sandy's turned off because of a key difference between how it and Backpack works.

Here's the issue: I have several daily recurring reminders set up in Sandy and Backpack (mirrored, for the time being). For example, "Take dog for a walk." These are reminders that I need to know about each morning, but that aren't important to me afterwards (particularly because they are being repeated every day).

Backpack handles this cleverly in its iCal feed. For every recurring reminder, the Backpack iCal feed only shows the very next instance of that reminder. So if I have a daily reminder set up at 6 AM, and it's 2 PM on Wednesday, the Backpack feed only shows me the 6 AM Thursday reminder. Nothing on Friday and after, and importantly, nothing on Wednesday and before. This keeps things neat and tidy in iCal (the program -- darn these same names...).

The Sandy iCal feed, in contrast, shows _every_ instance of that reminder, past present and future. This is not only aesthetically ugly in the calendar program, but also is not useful, as I don't need to see the daily reminder to take the dog for a walk last Sunday.

Hopefully this is something you'll agree is useful and will add to the Sandy iCal feed. Once you do, I'll make the switch fully from Backpack.

Thanks!
Joe

P.S. And let me echo others by saying that I'm addicted to Sandy now, so please start charging a monthly fee for it so I can pay you and ensure it will be around for me to use for the long term. :-)
