same day reminders
sadly, this is about the 5th time this has happened. Yesterday, I told sandy this:
remind me 7:15 PM january 30, 2008
and I got the reminder at 7:15 AM on the 31st. So I think she missed the date entirely.
How do you get a reminder for a same day event? I've tried saying tonight, I've tried just the date - it went on the next year!, and now this.

Sandy did just as you'd expect, setting a reminder for 7:15pm on January 31th 2008 (tonight).
You might want to take a gander at your Time Zone settings at: http://iwantsandy.com/settings/datetimes
If that doesn't reveal anything useful, please do send email to help@iwantsandy.com and we'll tuck in and see what's what.
(As an aside, you can also say "Remind me about something 7:15pm" if you mean for Sandy to remind you that evening.)

Inappropriate?I'm totally confused by your response. If I say "remind me 7:15 PM january 30, 2008", I would not expect to be reminded at "7:15 PM january 31, 2008". I would expect a reminder at 7:15 PM on January 30th. Am I crazy to expect that? I certainly wouldn't expect a reminder at 7:15 AM on any day.
My time zone settings are OK.
