sandy through text message or voicemail ?
is there a way for me to send an update via text message or voice message? I want to use Sandy as a replacement for Jott, but if this only works via e-mail update or directly on the website, it won't be as helpful.

Inappropriate?Lifehacker had a recent post about free Jott alternatives. Unfortunately, none of them look like they'd interface with Sandy without some special scripting or tying multiple services together.
My suggestion, and what I'm going to be doing myself, is to click the tiny little link on the bottom of the monthly Jott plan page for their pay-as-you-go options. My Jotts to Sandy are usually 15 seconds long or less, so a $10/10 minute package would give me 40 messages to Sandy, which is several months worth.
There isn't a way to send Sandy text messages directly, but I have heard there is a way to send SMS messages to Twitter, and Sandy has a Twitter interface.

Inappropriate?While convoluted, you can use ReQall to do the voice transcription, and then feed it to "TwitterFeed" to add it to your Twitter Account, and specify that it prefix entries with "d s" to make them direct messages to sandy.

Inappropriate?Yeraze, I'm trying to do what that thread says but I'm running into problems. Perhaps you could do a step-by-step? I'm not seeing the supposed radio button to notify; not getting the confirmation tweet; and the info on setting up feeds assumes a higher level of proficiency than I currently have. I'm teaching what I learn to a large group of non-techies over 35, so your efforts will magnify themselves.
