Sandy Wants to Add My Own Email Address as a Friend?

I just noticed this for the first time: I sent a few emails from my mobile device to my Sandy email address as reminders. When I saw the email messages on my PC, the first sentence is Sandy thanking me for introducing her to ME, at the same email address I have registered as my primary address for sandy! And she wants me to click on a link to set myself up as a friend - to me.

Just a little bit weird. Sandy should definitely recognize that this email address is my registered email address for Sandy.
