Schedule weekly appointments with an end date
Initial attempt to Sandy was "Remember class every Wednesday until May 7 from 5:30-8:30pm". What I received back was an appointment starting 5/7/08 at 5:30pm until 1/9/09 at 8:30pm.
Second attempt was "Remember class from 5:30-8:30pm every Wednesday until 5/7/08". Same result as first.
Third attempt was "Remember class on 1/9 from 5:30-8:30pm @weekly until 5/7/08". This produced "Occurs every Wednesday effective 01/09/2008 from 5:30 PM for 2859 hours".
I'm beginning to think it's not possible to schedule a period of time in which to schedule weekly (or otherwise recurring) appointments? Am I right?

Inappropriate?Hi Billy,
I'm sorry Sandy stumped you on this!
If what you're asking is whether or not it is possible to schedule recurring appointments that recur until a particular date (e.g. every wednesday until March), you're right that Sandy doesn't currently understand that.
(What was very useful, though, was the set of examples of what you did try. We are always working with Sandy to improve what she understands (within reason, of course) and examples like those you provided are more helpful than you'll ever know.)
What you can do is schedule a recurring appointment (e.g. "Remember class on 1/9 5-30-8:30pm @weekly") and, when you'd like it to stop, just tag it with @archive and it'll stop -- without need of you deleting it or anything that drastic.
I hope this helps. If not, please do reply and let's see what we can do to help you and Sandy along.

Inappropriate?Thanks Rael,
That functionality is fine (tag it @weekly and then @archive when done) though it would be sweet if Sandy could understand the recurrence end date and avoid the need for the extra steps altogether.
Either way, this is a really innovative product with great support. I'm glad my giving you what I tried helps. It seemed best to actually show you what I was trying for you to vet whether I'm even close to something!
Keep up the good work. If you need feedback on how people would try to phrase requests of Sandy for existing or future functionality, I'm happy to help. I'm amazed at how much she understands already!

Inappropriate?I'm just wondering how things are going with making this happen? Right now I've got a semester's worth of classes set up for the fall and I'd rather not have to go in and archive over 12 items if I don't have to.
