Inappropriate?This should help you: http://iwantsandy.com/help/twitter

Thank you norbig, but I tried all that stuff already. Still looking for help on the topic. -
Well, what's the problem then? Can you give us details, examples? -
Inappropriate?If I send this message to via my cell phone
r jean friday noon @todo
It shows up in Twitter, but does not make it to Sandy unless I'm not looking for it in the right place. -
Inappropriate?Well, you need to send a direct message to Sandy in order to be understood by her, so the correct request would be:
d s r jean friday noon @todo
d=direct message
s=sandy
Hope this helps. -
Hmmm. Thank you. I've tried everything in the help pages on twitter and sandy.
It seems I''m not alone in having problems in the sandy/twitter and reminder interface.
Is Sandy run by professionals or is this a school project? It and stikkit are very cool ideas, but if the problems and support turnaround is typical, I can't recommend it for anyone else. -
I'd say if there are any problems using Sandy combined with Twitter it's the Twitter that causes problems but it's just my opinion. There were times when Twitter did not deliver any reminders although Sandy was sending them. Twitter is not very stable but it's the only mobile solution for a lot of Sandy's users so far. -
Inappropriate?I agree with your comment about twitter. From my years as a developer, it was hard to get interfaces between systems running smoothly and it took time to make the interface bullet-proof.
That said, I have not received reminders by email OR by sms from Sandy today after I took twitter of the picture.
So there may be something else going on. I'm willing to give it a few days to work out before I give up completely. The email interface is such a powerful feature, I hope they get the kinks out soon.
