syncing with iCal
I already have iCal as well as the Entourage Calendar, and Palm software. I have no idea how to have Sandy insert reminders into any of these. Please help--and thank you!

Inappropriate?Howdy,
You'll find some instructions on subscribing iCal (and Outlook 2007) to a calendar feed of everything Sandy's holding for you at http://iwantsandy.com/help/feeds .
As for Entourage and Palm, you should be able to import any appointments, reminders, and to-dos you receive as attachments in Sandy's email replies or downloaded from iwantsandy.com.
To download an item to your calendar from iwantsandy.com, click the item's name on the site and -- in the details window that pops open -- click the "Download to calendar" link. If that doesn't automatically open your calendar and import itself, you might need to save it to your computer's desktop and then import it from within your calendar program.
I haven't had enough direct experience with Entourage and Palm, I'm afraid. Anyone else an Entourage or Palm aficionado who might be able to help Mr. Franken ;-) out here?

Inappropriate?Hi again,
I just did a little more digging on the Entourage front and it seems the solution most people eventually arrive at is to synch Entourage with iCal or more generally to iSync, allowing Entourage to play nicely with iCal, .Mac, and any other iSync-compatible devices like the iPhone, mobile phones, BlackBerries, Palms, et al. Here are some of the solutions I found:
http://www.google.com/search?client=s...
On the Palm front, one such solution I've used myself was The Missing Synch: http://www.markspace.com/missingsync_...
Hope this helps! Please do let us know so that the next person along can learn from all you have.

Inappropriate?I'd like to be able to sync with gCal. ...or at least have my gCal subscribe to my Sandy calendar. Can this be done?
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate?Adding to my last reply; when I do try to add a calendar by URL to my Google Calendar using the link provided at the right of my home page (as per instructions) I get the following error: Could not fetch the URL.
Thanks in advance for any insight into whether or not this should be doable. -
Inappropriate?Hi Jedweb,
I'm afraid Google Calendar doesn't support username/password authentication for subscribing to iCalendar feeds the way that iCal (Mac) and Outlook 2007 (PC) do.
So gCal isn't able to authenticate itself and pick up a copy of your calendar from Sandy. (I do wish their error messages were a tad more specific.)
We are actively looking at alternatives as Google Calendar integration is on our list.
I'm sorry I don't have a more immediate solution for you.

Inappropriate? Thanks for your assistance, Rael. Entourage, as you probably know, is the Outlook equivalent for the Mac - so subscribing to Outlook might work. However, on my home page I only have the option to subscribe to iCal - no option to subscribe to Outlook is shown. Any ideas?

Inappropriate?Hi Peter,
They are actually the same link with different names shown by browser platform.
But iCalendar format -- while working for both outlook for windows and iCal on Mac -- doesn't seem to agree with Entourage.

Inappropriate?Thanks for the response Rael.
I haven't used Stikkit much but doesn't it have a feature where it can automatically add events to Google Calendar? -
Inappropriate?Hi, Rael,
Thank you for your ideas. I haven't been able to try the link you provided because Sandy is not accepting my email login at that site. I will try again later. -
Inappropriate?Private URLs might be a solution.
