texting, reminders, etc NOT WORKING

Hi all of a sudden I am not getting reminders, either through my text messages or email or twitter. I have gone to settings, turned every thing off, and then turned everything back on to see if it would help. nothing. I went to the text settings and tried sending myself a "test" ans indicated on the page and no "test" text was sent.
