Timezone information changes unexpectedly when editing reminders
I went to the website, selected the reminder and chose edit. (At this point the reminder looks fine - Tuesday 8th January at 09:45 GMT).
I changed the reminder interval and saved and the task ended up at 5:45pm PST (which makes no sense).
I tried to change the date back, but the reminder got moved to 1st August 2008 this time with a EST timezone.
My settings are Europe - London and DD/MM/YYYY (changing to US format dates helps a little, but I really don't want to change to a US timezone).
The more people who report this problem, the more it gets noticed.

Inappropriate?Hi Steve,
That's really strange. We think we came up with an explanation for it and we're testing a potential fix. Hopefully should be all better by later today (Saturday).
Thanks for bringing this (serious) issue to our attention!

Inappropriate?Okay, it should be fixed now. It only happens intermittently, so please let me know if it happens to you again.
Thanks,

Inappropriate?Same thing is happening to me now. I'm on GMT-2, and if I email or Twitter a new reminder set for, say 6 PM, and go to my list, I see it as "6 PM". However, if I edit the reminder from the site and change it to start "in 10 minutes", it gets updated to a time which is 4 hours and 10 minutes in the future.
This, coupled with another problem whereby I'm getting no SMS reminders, is making the whole timezone thing very uncertain for me: if I want the reminder at my 6 PM, do I need to set it for 6 PM, or for 4 hours later? (By the way, SMS reminders were "working" yesterday --I was getting them randomly late, from minutes to hours-- and I haven't changed anything in the SMS contact data.)
I’m frustrated and inches away from firing Sandy

Inappropriate?Hi Leandro,
I'll leave you to continue working with Marshall on the timezone issue — you're in more than capable hands there.
On the sluggishness front, we've experienced a high load of incoming clients and their email messages today. Please do take a gander at http://gsfn.us/t/bzp for a full update.

Inappropriate?Glad to help if I can. Have a look at my other post regarding timezones (at http://getsatisfaction.com/iwantsandy...) for more information.
