Twitter reminders turned off - but not by me
I noticed over the weekend that I didn't receive any reminders on my mobile phone - these come via twitter for me. This morning, when I received a reminder by email but not through twitter, I went to check my twitter direct messages, and realised that the last reminder sent from Sandy through twitter was on Friday. On checking with Sandy, it turns out my twitter reminders were set to "off".
I know I didn't do this...any ideas how it happened?

Unfortunately, Sandy sometimes experiences problems talking to Twitter. Most of the time Twitter is down, but sometimes it gives other errors. If Sandy gets too many errors, she has to give up. That's the most likely reason.
The other possibility is that you're one of 5 or 6 users who we noticed were affected by a bug in Sandy that caused their Twitter settings to get confused, where reminders were both enabled and disabled. If you were one of those people, we certainly apologize. The bug's fixed now and shouldn't happen again.
Either way, sorry for the trouble...

Inappropriate?I think it must have been the latter - I was getting lots of twitter notifications from other sources (lots of those I follow going off on holiday together this weekend - and I can't go - bah) so I know twitter was working fine.
I posted mainly to ensure that nothing was being missed, either on my end or yours. Thanks for the prompt and clear reply.
